The Laser Operator is responsible for operating a laser, loading and running the 2D and 3D programs for the laser, quality measurements, continuous improvement, and knowing how to start and stop the laser safely. The Laser Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the laser.

Perform quality first piece inspections
~ Responsible for quality of product.
~ 2D Program laser to nest parts for 2D cutting path
~ Load steel and unload parts from the laser and placed together per job order
~ Responsible for all material handling of laser parts
~ Repair of all nonconforming parts
~ Keep necessary operational and quality records and complete required paperwork
~ Keep productive during job cuts
~ Familiarity with material handling equipment, able to operator a forklift
# Able to read, write and speak in English
# Compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
# Must have excellent attendance as well as willingness and ability to work overtime
# Physically demanding task of unloading parts from sheet steel skeletons throughout the shift.
