Job Description: Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system. Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing. Managing medication. Making referrals for specialized care or treatment. Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards. Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews. Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed. Remarks: Duration: At least 1 Years from projected start date Hours/Week: Start Time 7:00 AM End Time 5:00 AM Minimum Education Level Doctoral Degree Submissions must include: Resume Cover Letter RTR Healthcare-professional level CPR certification ODRC packet: Ohio License If Missing any documents, the bid will be rejected If Chosen for position TB and Drug Screen must be initiated within 48 hours. Resumes will be pushed *DAILY* Submissions over the max budgeted bill rate will be rejected. Searching for a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population. Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. Caseload is 75-100 patients. Assignment will last at least 6 months if selected psychiatrist is a good fit. Assignment could lead to permanent hire. The following credentialing documents must be submitted: a comprehensive CV that includes education (with location and year of graduation), training, and complete work history; Ohio license; healthcare-professional level CPR certification; and Drug Enforcement Administration certification. A packet of ODRC forms must also be submitted so that a background investigation can be completed. The results of a TB test and drug test must be made available to the hiring manager at least 48 hours prior to start, or the start date may be postponed. The TB test must have been completed within 30 days prior to start, and the drug test must have been completed within 60 days prior to start.
