*Position Title:* Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

*Available Shifts: (*will take call after hours, overnight, and weekend. The call is shared equally amongst all surgical techs in the department. There is a 30 minute response time to call. Meaning that the moment they are called in for a case, they have 30 minutes to be at the facility, clocked in, changed, and ready to start their case. It is ok if they do not live within a 30 minute radius of the facility; however, they are obligated to be at the facility within 30 minutes if they are on call. In this instance, they would need to make arrangements to be at the facility within 30 minutes if called in)

*Days*:
* 630a-7p (3) 12hr shifts
* 630a-5p (4) 10hr shifts

*Evenings*:
* 1030-11p (3) 12hr shifts
* 1030-9p (4) 10hr shifts

*Job Summary and Qualifications*

We are seeking a *Surgical Technician *to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.

*What will you do in this role?*
* Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
* Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
* Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

*What qualifications will you need?*
* *· Would Strongly Prefer candidates that have 2 Experience in Acute care) would consider someone that does not have acute care experience. *
* *MUST have CST certification in hand.*
* Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* Vocational School Graduate

* Surgical Techs with experience will be given an 8-week orientation.

*Salary Range: * $22.66 - $32.86/ Hr (Offered salary will be discussed by the HR Director in Interview)

*Sign On: upto *$10k (2 year commitment)

* *Night: $3.25/hr. *
* *Weekend: $2.00/hr. *
* *Evening (if working 8/10 hr. shifts): $2.00/hr. *

*On Call Pay: On-call is $4.00/hr. and call back is time and a half*
