Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
· Choice of Insurance Plans (Health, Dental, Vision, Life)
· Performs primary function of a Registered Nurse in planning, directing, ensuring, and evaluating quality of patient care delivered. Works primarily in the Advanced Care Unit but floats to other departments as needed based on ACU census. Serves as a liaison to providers to determine appropriate level of care and unit placement across the hospital care continuum. Demonstrates competency in advanced nursing skills. Works independently but seeks assistance of other nursing staff as needed. Attends all mandatory training. Assists with orientation and coaching of new staff. Assists in policy development and revision for ACU.
Minimum EducationAssociate Degree Nursing (ADN): valid with presence of the RN LicenseBachelor’s Degree Nursing (BSN): Preferred. Previous ICU or ER experience Preferred.
Handle with Care to be completed within 30 days of orientation and renewed annually.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
