Raytheon is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Engineer-P4 to join the Cyber Security Engineering team supporting the operations and maintenance of custom solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities. The ideal candidate will have strong cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and enterprise information security infrastructure. Liaison between cyber security and platform to ensure alignment on defects and exceptions and facilitate the execution of the plan for each instance

- Train and mentor, the cyber security team on the process of identifying, reporting, addressing, and verifying any defects in the system

- Vulnerability assessment and analysis experience utilizing Nessus/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and DISA STIGs

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant engineering experience

- S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-37, Continuous Monitoring IAW NIST 800-137, Patching IAW NIST 800-40, NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253

- Demonstrated experience working with software and platform teams to assess and address security defects in the system

- Ability to support periodic travel

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
