Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking the best South Carolina licensed  Nurse Practitioners (NPs)  with  Trauma Surgery experience  available for a new ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Florence, South Carolina

We're seeking the best clinicians available for  Night Shift (Nocturnist) coverage to extend their clinical skills to our General Surgery, Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Departments. Think you might be a fit?

Opportunity Specifics:
  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens
  • Setting:  General Surgery/Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care
    • Trauma and General Surgery cases that come in through the ED for General Surgery and Trauma
  • Start Date:  August - Ongoing 
  • Schedule Options: 
    • 14-hr Night Shifts (5:00pm - 7:00am)
    • Mix of Coverage & Backup Call Coverage (please call to inquire about schedule specifics)
Department Overview:
  • Hospital Beds: 500+
  • Trauma Level: Trauma Level II 
  • Cases: Comfort w/ Adult & Pediatric Patients
  • Census: 10-12 PPD
  • Responsibilities : Assisting Trauma/General Surgeons with rounding, patient management, new patient evaluations, and documentation. 
  • Procedures: Predominantly blunt trauma, penetrating trauma, emergent procedures with general surgery, some ICU bedside procedures (tracheotomy, PEG tube, chest tube, etc.)
  • EMR: Epic
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners with Trauma Surgery experience ready to be day-one contributors withina fast-paced, well-supported environment with exceptional Board Certified Trauma and General Surgeons on the forefront of patient care. Think you might be a fit?

Candidate Requirements:
  • ANCC or AANP Certified Nurse Practitioner 
  • Recent/Ongoing Trauma/General Surgery Experience
  • Current South Carolina State License w/ Unrestricted DEA
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
