Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS has an amazing opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner, to work with an Interventional Cardiologist in a high-volume private practice. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Interventionalist in order to support his practice
Candidates must have:
- Masters degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active KS license or willing to apply.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Cardiology experience as a nurse is preferred but not required
Skills:
- General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in basic cardiovascular technology, i.e. EKG, patient assessment and management of care, labs/hospital test results
Experience:
- Cardiology NP Outpatient: (Preferred but not required)
- Cardiovascular patient assessment: (Preferred but not required)
- New Graduates are encouraged to apply
Weekly schedule:
- Monday - Friday clinic and hospital rounding every 5-7 weeks.
Work setting:
- In-person
