Job Details
ASAP start.
Experienced is preferred but will consider new graduate.
Provides chairside assistance to the dentists.
Assists with clerical duties of the Dental Center.
Essential Functions: Assists the dentist by transferring instruments and supplies, keeping oral areas clear during dental procedures and preparing restoration materials and cements.
Opens sterile supplies and sets up for procedures.
Sterilizes instruments, equipment and supplies as required; handles and stores instruments, equipment and supplies appropriately.
Takes and mounts dental x-rays.
Makes hydrocolloid impressions of the patient's oral cavity, pours up in dental stone and trims study models.
Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements
Must have DNAB Certification.
Minimum Education: Certificate Program Accredited Dental Assisting Required.
Work Experience: 1 year Relevant experience.
Courses and Training: Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program.
Physical Demands: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Carrying/Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Kneeling/Crouching, Reaching, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions, Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination.
Schedule Information
~ Shift: M-F 8am-4:30pm.

Additional Details
All time off and/or scheduling requests must be included in the submission.
Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a perm hire at any WellSpan site within the year.
WellSpan requires the flu vaccine from September 7 - April 30. Please ensure your traveler is willing to obtain prior to submitting.
