Job Description A-Line Staffing is recruiting for a full time permanent Endocrinologist Physician in Albany, NY . Signing bonus – negotiable
Relocation assistance if applicable
ON CALL: Hospital-they all rotate through the hospital, a few weeks out of the year; Clinic-rotate through, after hour service; Outpatient Clinic call is 1 in every 8- 10 weeks divided amongst APs and Physicians. Hospital call varies, we have 2 inpatient Endocrinologists who cover most hospital weeks so it usually ends up being 4-5 weeks per year, covering vacations, etc. The multi-disciplinary team of Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators are dedicated to helping individuals with diabetes improve their quality of life. The practice provides diagnosis, treatment and long-term care for individuals with diabetes, and other endocrine and metabolic disorders; offering the latest diabetes care technology, including insulin pump/sensor download and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for diagnosis.
· Specialized services include: complication screening, prevention and treatment, medication management, foot care, smoking cessation, onsite HbA1c testing, weight management and nutritional counseling, diabetes support groups, and individual and group diabetes education classes.
