As an Asbestos Project Monitor / Air Sampling Technician you will oversee a variety of environmental remediation projects, including asbestos, mold, and lead. Your work may involve collecting air samples, oversight to monitor regulatory compliance, and interface with abatement contractor supervisors, foremen, NYS inspectors and building owners to enhance quality assurance and quality control measures associated with construction, demolition, or renovation of spaces. Your attentiveness to proper site documentation and equipment organization is important to the success of the projects.
Be a minimum of eighteen (18) years old.
Read and write English.
Able to travel routinely and possess reliable transportation capable of transporting monitoring equipment.
Experience in asbestos-related projects or environmental sites assessments is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Working hours are typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F with extended shift
overtime, overnight, weekends, holidays, occasionally required depending on project deadlines. Projects may include working outdoors, within attics, crawlspaces, boiler rooms, and working at elevated heights, climbing ladders, scaffolding, and utilizing lifts.

NYSDOL required classroom training, and needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
