Job Description:
Demonstrated capability/understanding of the design and development of medical devices including electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, metal and plastic components, and manufacturing processes.
Leverage solid electrical engineering fundamentals to document clear justification of recommendations and support critical technical decisions.
Create and implement product test plans/protocols, coordinate/execute testing, and generate test reports to ensure product design changes meet specifications, comply with regulations and quality system requirements.

Lead released product engineering teams through design, planning, developing, testing and analysis during product change implementation to drive improved product performance, reliability, and manufacturability, reduce cost, and / or ensure supply continuity.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, CM/OEM, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and other key functions to achieve business goals.
Coordinate and prioritize Engineering activities and deliverables to meet project goals and timelines and identify and mitigate project risks.
Identify and act on opportunities to implement best practices in projects and processes.

Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, with one or more of the following:
AS with 15 years of relevant experience, BS with 8 years relevant experience
MS with 6 years relevant experience
PhD with 3 years relevant experience

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
