*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Dell Children's Medical Center is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospital Medicine physician for our hospitalist group within Dell Children's Medical Center.

Pediatric Hospitalists at Dell Childrens are dedicated clinicians and educators, practicing state of the art, evidence-based medicine in robust clinical settings of acute care hospital medicine, subspecialty care, complex care, surgical co-management, and mental health. Our institutions growing programs and clinical service lines provide ample opportunities for Pediatric Hospitalists to serve the patients and families in our community and region. We have a 4th bed tower that opened Nov 2022 and a North Austin campus projected to open in the spring of 2023. Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
