Solventum is seeking Mechanical Technician candidates to join our team in Brookings SD

As a Mechanical Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Troubleshooting, repairing and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and components to include bearings, bushings, gear boxes, transmissions, motors, conveyor belts, pump seals, brakes, clutches, and drives.
Troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
Performing basic machining using precision measuring equipment
Performing welding and fabrication tasks

Possess, or in the last six (6) months of pursing, an associate degree in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic

Possess a High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of maintenance experience in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Five (5) years of maintenance experience in Electro-Mechanics, Fluid Power, Machinist, Automotive, or Diesel Mechanic
Industrial motor drive controls troubleshooting experience
Experience working with electrical equipment
Industrial maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment

Travel: No Travel
Relocation Assistance: Not authorized

H1B status).
