Ascension Saint Thomas is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/Gyn for our Laborist Department at our Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

Position Highlights:

• Shifts covering either the OB hospitalists or the OB/GYN ED
• Supervises Residents and works with NPs and CNMs in the OB/GYN ED
• Great working relationships with community physicians and emergency room providers
• OB and GYN privileges are required

• The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.
• Ascension Saint Thomas continues to make significant investments to care for our community, including a $300 million Midtown campus expansion project which was completed in 2023.
• Recent expansions at our hospital in Midtown include a new ICU and surgical tower, and the Womens Hospital Pavilion which opened in 2023. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
