Medi Home Care*, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., currently seeks a full-time *Respiratory Therapist* for our *Home Medical Equipment (HME)* location in *Roanoke, VA. (We are excited to welcome you to our Home Medical Equipment Team At Medi home Care we are passionate about putting patients first in everything we do. At Medi Home Care we offer competitive rates, Monday through Friday hours (no weekends) and the majority of the respiratory therapy work is done here in our Irmo office. We value clinicians with any experience level and are open to hiring new graduates, as we believe anyone with a heart for patient care can learn to be a valuable member of the Medi Home Care team. Responsibilities of *Respiratory Therapist* include:
· Performs respiratory equipment setups in a timely and accurate manner.
· Provides instruction to patients and/or caregivers on the proper use of equipment and/or respiratory care procedures.
· Consults with referring physician regarding patient treatment, medical condition and home environment.
· Provides follow-up visits as necessary to assess the patient’s ability to operate equipment.
*Valid Respiratory Therapy license in the state of *VA.*
