Do you want to work as a(an) Cardiovascular Recovery RN PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? As a highly-skilled and compassionate CV Recovery Nurse you will provide pre/post nursing care to patients undergoing procedures within the Cath Lab. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. You will be part of a team that pulls together to provide a quality patient care experience. You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that take place as part of the prepping and recovery of patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations and/or coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.
You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care. You will assist the patient through all aspects of the pre and post procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure(s), patient monitoring, hemostasis management following removal of catheter or sheath, return to inpatient room, or same day discharge. You will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations
Current nursing license in good standing
Associate’s Degree in nursing required, bachelor’s preferred
PACU/CV Recovery experience required, ICU experience preferred.
