Job Details
IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
Local rate rule: $15 off the BR. ICU, PCU and M/S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local and will be accepted at the local rate.
First Time Travelers Accepted.
IU Health Methodist Hospital has different unit details such as Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho etc., and manages some pre-op patients.
Job Requirements
~ Minimum 2 Year of Med/Surg Experience.
~2 Years Overall RN experience required.
~ Management of dysrhythmias and Interpretation of dysrhythmias skills preferred.
Schedule Information
~ Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
Unit Specific Information
~ Unit Information: Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho etc., & some pre-op patients.
Additional Details
Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date).
Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need.
Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6.
Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
