Frye Regional Medical Center includes a 355-bed acute care hospital and features a 32-bed Emergency Department, 29-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, 15-bed Surgical Suite and Inpatient/Outpatient Imaging. Our South Campus is an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital.

· Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. accordance with organizational policies. the Float Team to implement the patient’s plan of care. Provides population specific care and meets the
developmental needs of populations served.
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical
treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge,
referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
Associate’s degree in nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Tier 1 Float to: Nephrology/Oncology (NEON); Neuro Progressive Care Unit; Nursing Rehab; Telemetry;
Progressive Stepdown Unit (IMCU); Surgical Unit
Rehab: BLS required
Telemetry: BLS required. Cardiovascular Unit
(Critical Care Unit (CCU); Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU); Emergency Department (ED);
ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
