We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Pulmonary Unit. In this role you will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to ( Pulmonary and respiratory diagnoses, included but not limited to: COPD and asthma exacerbations, pneumonia, TB, infections and ailments of the pulmonary system. You will develop and implement individual patient care plans in accordance with standards of nursing practice through implementation of the nursing process and nursing diagnosis
You will initiate, regulate and otherwise manages IV therapy for a specific group of assigned patients
You will assume responsibility for patient placement on the unit and assignment of care responsibilities that consider complexity of nursing care required by each patient
This position is in the Medical Pulmonary Unit
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required
Complies with hospital employee health, infection control and safety management programs
Current acute clinical care experience preferred
