Counselor I

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen is a non-profit, social services agency dedicated to helping those individuals in need and improving the quality of life to members in the community.

In home program providing case management, parenting education, and supportive counseling to families in Warren County who are involved with the Department of Child Protection and Permanency.
This position also works with the children placed in resource homes visiting their biological parents.
This position will work out of the office in Phillipsburg, NJ, as well as in the field, homes and community, with these identified families.

Bachelor's degree is human services required
Must be able to work some evening hours, as needed, to meet family need.
Knowledge of child development, child welfare, mental/behavioral health, and community resources is helpful.
