Summit is the busiest level 3 trauma hospital in Tennessee. In this position you will be working in a 50 bed Emergency Room thatprimarily cares for higher acuity pts, which includes 8 trauma bays. This position will provide a great pathway for nurses that are interested in growing into other nursing positions like, Trauma, Float Pool, Inpatient Rehab, PCU, ICU, or even educator roles or leadership positions.

Emergency Room Nurse
Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

You will also focus on providing care to patients needing Behavioral Health services, alongside other ER patients
You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. 
You will promote hospital customer service initiatives. 
You will utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients. 
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 1 year minimum of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
