Georgetown Hill Early School is a non-profit school that has been serving Maryland families' preschool, elementary, and childcare needs since 1980 . Our mission is to join teachers, children, and their families to create an unsurpassed early childhood educational experience.

Now Hiring at the following locations:
Darnestown - Just minutes from the Kentlands neighborhood and exciting Downtown Crown
Bells Mill/Potomac - Located between Bells Mill Elementary School and Cabin John Middle School, near the Cabin John Shopping Center
This position is full-time with 30-35 hours a week with scheduling needs of M-F 7am-10am and M-F 2pm-6pm. Provide fun activities and experiences for children outside of their school requirements
Transport elementary-aged children to and from their public elementary school
Provide educational support to elementary children via homework help and assistance with schoolwork
Supervise children to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students
Demonstrate effective communication skills and positive interpersonal relations with children, families, colleagues, and community
Manage the before & after care program in a way that fosters a consistent, safe, and positive environment for all students and staff
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and teaching methods
Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must submit to and successfully pass a state and federal background check as a contingency of employment.
