* This position requires a Certified Educator specializing in Diabetes Management credentialed from the National Certification and a Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date. It is also strongly preferred that candidates have their certification in the Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE).

* Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Actual compensation offer will vary based upon role, education, experience, location, and qualifications. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
* Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
* Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
* Licensure / Certification / Registration:
* Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained
Certified Educator specializing in Diabetes Management credentialed from the National Certification
Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) preferred.
Education:
* Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
Experience working with type 1 Diabetes in Pediatrics - preferred
