is seeking a System Administrator 3 in El Segundo, CA. This position will design, install, operate, secure, and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead Information Technology projects that provide dedicated program infrastructureWork directly with programs to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedulesPerform a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activitiesDesign, install, configure, troubleshoot and provide maintenance of systems hardware, software and componentsEnsure Information Technology infrastructure conforms with standard architectural objectivesProvide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problemsDevelop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectivesDetermine and develop approaches to solutionsReceive general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectivesContribute to the completion of specific programs and projectsInteract frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customersRepresent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects Basic Qualifications:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g
Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g
PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).Active CompTIA Security certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)3 years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022, Windows 10)3 years of experience with operating system (Windows and/or Linux) installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting3 years of experience in troubleshooting servers, data storage devices, Oracle databases, and laboratory network3 years of experience in configuring network storage systemsAbility to obtain Counter Intelligence Polygraph Preferred Qualifications:
Active Counter Intelligence Polygraph3 years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support3 years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies3 years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets3 years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems3 years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware3 years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution
