Do you want to work as a(an) Ulltrasound Technologist PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? Operates the Ultrasound equipment, follows ACR protocols, and radiologists guidelines to produce diagnostic exams. Responsible for workflow including PACS to obtain a permanent record of the examination and assist in the daily operating of the Imaging Services Department. Ability to perform routine procedure with stationary portable equipment in all areas of the facility, including the operating room. Extensive knowledge of the current operation of all departmental equipment, accessories and procedures. Ability to diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and communicate with service personnel. Ability to train various staff types in essential job functions and evaluate those functions. Currently registered through ARDMS as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Graduate from an accredited program in Ultrasound.
Oviedo Medical Center is a 64-bed acute care hospital. We serve east Seminole County and surrounding communities. Our services include surgical inpatient units and intensive care. Our hospital offers medical cardiology and telemetry. We provide inpatient and outpatient surgery, and women’s services including labor and delivery.
