Dialysis Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing Facility
The DaVita Skilled Nursing Facility RN will work on-site at a SNF in Brownsville, TX.
Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week placing a significant burden on patients and adding significant avoidable costs to the health care system. DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in a home healthcare facility. DaVita - which is Italian for "giving life" - is working to provide quality service to patients, partners, and teammates. Dialysis experience is required.
* Training may take place in a facility or a training facility other than your assigned home facility
* Potential to float to various clinics during and after your training
* You must have a flexible schedule
Staff RNs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
* Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
* Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up.

* Paid training
Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
* Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
