*A LPN promotes the residents' health, wellness and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. A LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and handles a diverse range of tasks including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures and documenting the clinical data of patients, among other duties.
*Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
* Accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
* Handles physician orders, administers medications, collect and maintain resident data, take vitals, assist with resident comfort
* Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manor
*Degree from accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
* Education or experience in long term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
* Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
* Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
* An LPN Supervisor works closely with RNs and LPNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees.
*Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
* Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department
* Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families
* Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
* Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvements
* Provides information to Residents and health care team.
* Maintains documentation of Resident care services.
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing
* Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
* Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
