Nurse Practitioner at Foster Medical

An established gastroenterology practice in the Kensington, Maryland area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive outpatient care to patients The group is known for its commitment to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive work environment for its providers. Prior experience in gastroenterology or another relevant specialty is preferred, but the group is also open to training a motivated candidate.
Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Adhere to established clinical protocols and practice guidelines to uphold quality standards of care.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities and training programs as needed.
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
* Strong commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinic priorities.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a healthy work-life balance with no weekends, on-call duties, or evening shifts.
