Our Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse team is a committed, caring group of colleagues. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. You will serve as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care prior to admission and procedure/surgery.
You will be responsible for obtaining patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated.
You will obtain and/or coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.), and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and documents information accurately.
You will initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care/ED.
