Sierra Medical Center

This dynamic individual will be r esponsible for provision and administration of specific mobility therapy treatments. Documenting ambulation distance, assistance level, time in chair and safety precautions. The patient mobility tech participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety programs.

Responsible for providing specific treatment only as directed by the nursing staff.
Communicates any changes in condition (physical or mental) to staff physical therapist, nursing and other hospital personnel, as appropriate.
Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.
