At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center , the Registered Nurse RN in the Operating Room of the Connecticut Joint Replacement & Spine Institute delivers patient care for same-day surgeries.
Collaborates closely with the anesthesia team, physicians, and other healthcare team members, as well as the patient and their family, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient care.
Serves as a patient advocate throughout the entire surgical process, offering support before, during, and after surgery.
Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associates degree in Nursing is mandatory. A Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Operating Room nursing, specifically in Orthopedic or Spine/Neuro OR, is required. Will consider Main/General or Ambulatory OR experience, provided expertise includes Circulatory and Scrub Operating Room RN.
Full-Time: 36 hours/week - Day Shift. Rotating weekends and holidays, on-call rotation is required for all shifts.
