The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by the nature and specific requirements of the Outpatient Burn Unit. The care is consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We use established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” Our clinical outcomes contribute to the overall departmental performance.
You will be specialized in burn, heart and kidney related medical problems
You will manage efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing and discharges
You will respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed)
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
