It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a Pediatric Emergency Dept Registered Nurse. Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA and the Pediatric ED RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department patients. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.
You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
You will provide patient education / follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals 
Current BLS- Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
Minimum of one year of experience working in Emergency room setting required, Pediatric setting preferred
