Position utilizes automation and computerization, and manual methods. Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Specimens may be contaminated with infectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens.
Bachelor's Degree: Medical Technology (Required)MLT - Medical Laboratory Technologist Certification - American Society for Clinical PathologyAmerican Society for Clinical Pathology Four year Bachelor of Science Degree. Or completion of all required course work for Bachelor’s degree and completion of ASCP Certification . Experience in an automated clinical laboratory
