Join the leading chiplet startup from the ground floor As a Validation Automation Engineer, you will develop automated methods through scripts and firmware in a fast paced early stage startup creating technologies that fuel tomorrow’s chiplet based systems with best-in-class power, area, manufacturability, and design flexibility. You will be responsible for working with the designer to capture the methods and algorithms for validating silicon, including on-chip firmware and control software, and creating automation to produce reliable data across many parts at different operating conditions. You will work with a cross-functional team of industry experts that operate from first principles, innovate and push the envelope to create high-volume and high-performance manufacturable products. Key Responsibilites
  • Write scripts that control PCs, and power supplies and test and measurement equipment
  • Write and modify firmware to sensitize and evaluate different features in the circuits, and calibration algorithms
  • Develop databases to capture test data from runs from different parts and different operating conditions
  • Create software to generate shmoo plots and other reports from many parts to clearly show circuit behavior trends
  • Create infrastructure usable by design engineers to control power supplies, T&M equipment, and the DUTs
  • Work with RTL and Analog designers to understand the design and how to exercise it
Qualifications
  • Expertise in scripting and programming
  • Experience with test plan development and execution
  • Knowledge of C++ and scripting languages
  • BS EE or equivalent, with 5 years of experience
Ideal Qualifications
  • Understanding of analog/mixed-signal blocks such as PLLs, DLLs, ADCs/DACs, Serdes, LDOs
  • Knowledge of wireline transceivers
  • |MS EE or equivalent, with 7 years of experience
