This 500-bed, non-for-profit healthcare center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Director, GI to join its team. The Leapfrog Group has decorated this facility as a Top Teaching Hospital and “Outstanding” in the category of patient experience for over 10 years. Well known for several specialties, this acute-care hospital offers exceptional intervention when it comes to its patients GI health. The Gastroenterology Nurse Manager and their team will have the opportunity to use their background and expertise while utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in providing the highest level of patient care to the surrounding community.

The Assistant Nurse Director, GI will work in coordination with the Director to achieve the goals set forth on the unit. Additional responsibilities include completing administration duties, collaborate between departments as needed/beneficial, consistently meeting or exceeding staff performance expectations, possessing advanced nursing knowledge and competency, and ensuring the quality clinical services being provided are in line with the hospital policy, procedures, and regulations. Top applicants will possess a BSN, have experience in a leadership role, be licensed as a registered nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State, and be BLS certificated. Certification in area of clinical specialty is preferred.
