We are seeking an Orthopedic Operating Room Nurse Manager who desires to be part of a dedicated team providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care in a patient-centered environment where quality and safety are paramount and where clinical outcomes, cost-effectiveness, teaching and innovation drive our efforts, functioning within the framework for professional nursing practice.
In collaboration with Director, establishes, develops, and maintains effective relationships, working agreements and quality partnership to secure resources to support patient care and to assure compliance with current regulatory requirements and perioperative protocols, policies, best practices.
Fosters a culture of intradepartmental teamwork and respect
Assesses staff performance against objectives; Seeks and utilizes information (including research findings) and system in order to optimize quality, best practice, and cost containment
Bachelor's degree required. * One degree must be in Nursing.
• Certification in nursing administration is required within 5 years of assuming position.
