Do you want to work as a(an) Certified Respiratory Therapy Tech where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director/Manager, the Respiratory Therapy Tech is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician orders, department policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapy Tech administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
You will demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
BLS and ACLS Certifications Required (obtain/maintain within timeframes required by hospital policy)
~ Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
~Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists. These staff are on site at all times. Bricks and mortar do not make a hospital.
