Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care. Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac ICU in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Fulltime, Night shift position located at Baptist Downtown. We are offering a $5,000 Sign on Bonus. As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will: * Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition * Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement * Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care * Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital * Coordinate care provided by ancillary services * Act as the patient advocate * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Nights Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred * 1-2 years Telemetry Experience * Hospital Experience Licenses and Certifications * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred * Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred * Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview For more than 20 years, health care consumers have named Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville the "most preferred healthcare provider" in the region.
