This Registered Nurse PACU opportunity is part time at 20 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Provides direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Assists with the maintenance of PHA and PACU equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing surgical, pain management, and endoscopic procedures. Responsible for monitoring patient’s physiological status in the immediate postoperative environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist immediately and as needed about patient condition; Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care as indicated and evaluates for effectiveness.

Current Nevada nursing license.
Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care PACU setting.
Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment) in required speciality.
