*Come join our dynamic team of Respiratory Therapists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and hospital affiliated Pulmonologists, Cardiologists, and Internal Medicine Physicians*
*Fox Subacute is the oldest and the largest ventilator facility in Pennsylvania conveniently located in beautiful South Philadelphia minutes from the ball parks. *Fox Subacute is a 53-bed facility that provides care to clinically complex respiratory and ventilator dependent residents. Fox offers the acuity level of a hospital step down unit while giving its RTs the opportunity to really get to know and care for their resident’s long term.
*Our ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills, a superior work ethic, and the ability to communicate well with all members of the multidisciplinary team from MDs, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Certified Nursing Assistants, etc.

* Able to read, write, and speak the English language clearly
* Ability to perform the physical tasks required in skilled nursing
* In coordination with the healthcare team, assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and modifies each resident's care plan to meet with his/her physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs
* Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents
* Provides direct resident care as needed and directed by Physician’s orders or Policies and Procedures
* Maintains ventilators, O2 levels and other variables of respiratory care
* Uses skilled interventions to provide symptom management and relief
* Identifies resident problems and needs through continuously collecting data and observing residents
* Assists with hook-ups, portable vents, wheel chairs and other issues of transporting residents
