Sign-on bonus: Schedule: Full Time Nights, 3 - 12 hour shifts per week, 7pm - 7am
Hospital: 4 West, Post-Surgical unit is a 32 bed unit that cares for patients undergoing general surgery procedures. These procedures vary from thoracotomy, colon surgery, mastectomy, genitourinary surgery, plastic/reconstruction surgery, bariatric surgery. This is a fast paced unit with many opportunities for developing and refining nursing skills such as IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, patient teaching and critical assessment skills.

*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
