Roadside Diesel Technician

Rocky Mountain Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic for our Newton, KS location. This is a Shop service and repair position, with roadside service and an on-call rotation schedule._
*Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and on-highway truck malfunctions and failures
* Prepare and complete all related inspection forms for tractors and trailers
* Promote additional work, parts and services for Service Writers to put forward to customers
* Communicate effectively with Service Writers, Shop Managers, and Breakdown Coordinators, to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repair are understood and followed up on
* There is an On-call rotation required with this position which will entail working in field/roadside conditions, out of a service truck, without the support functions of a service shop
*Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record
