Position Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray.Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.
Submission Requirements
2+ Years of Experience - Required Experience with X-ray - Required Travel - Required BLS must be AHAHealth system-wide profile standardsReferences NOT required.A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit, it would be in the traveler's best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review.Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

McLaren Lapeer Region is a 222-bed acute care hospital located in Lapeer, Michigan, and is the primary provider of health care services to Lapeer County and the surrounding area. McLaren Lapeer Region has received national recognition from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid for clinical excellence in orthopedics, pneumonia, congestive heart failure and surgical care. Specifics:
Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of
initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x
Regular rates
Extension Discount: $1/hr on the
initial extension.
McLaren's local traveler policy is
to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address
