The Opportunity

Our client is a small, innovative, privately owned architectural products company and has hired us to seek out a Mechanical Designer / Drafter for their Harrisburg, PA location.

This position is responsible for designing and drafting mechanical systems, assisting with routine layout drawings and diagrams, and supporting continuous improvement and product support for dealers and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

Producing and updating all requested dealer job drawings.
Assisting Engineering with product drawings and developing cost-effective, code-compliant products.
Suggesting and implementing improvements for existing products.
Supporting production with tool and fixture design.
Developing and maintaining Bills of Material.
Helping Sales resolve customer installation issues and providing technical support as needed.

Qualifications include:

Proficiency with AutoCAD / DraftSight
3+ years of mechanical design experience
