The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) works backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi- billion-dollar businesses. AWS is looking for a Storage Solution Architect, who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for helping customers in designing solutions that leverage our AWS Storage services. As part of the GTM Specialist Solutions Architecture team, you will work closely with other Specialist Machine Learning Architects and Data/Storage architects from various geographies to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of Amazon Web Services for Data and AI/ML. You will interact with other Solution Architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements, and you will develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage Data and AI/ML on Amazon Web Services. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services ML solutions into customer architectures. . A strong developing machine learning background is preferred, in addition to experience building application and architecture design. You will be familiar with the ecosystem of software vendors in the Storage space, and will leverage this knowledge to help Amazon Web Services customers in their selection process.
Candidates must have great communication skills and be very technical, with the ability to impress Amazon Web Services customers at any level, from executive to developer. Previous experience with Amazon Web Services is desired but not required, provided you have experience building large scale solutions. You will get the opportunity to work directly with senior ML engineers and Data Scientists at customers, partners and Amazon Web Services service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.
Thought Leadership – Evangelize AWS Storage services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
- Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, Storage and the AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and providing guidance on their customer engagements.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of Storage related subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
- Customer Advisor- Implement, and deploy state of the art machine learning algorithms under Storage, Data and AI. You will interact closely with our customers and with the academic community.
7 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 5 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience managing data pipelines
- Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team
- Active in the open source community, such as HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc
- Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training
