Respiratory Therapy at UMMC East Bank is a dynamic, growing department with approximately 70 staff members. As part of a large, integrated, academic healthcare system, the Respiratory Therapist (RT) has a vigorous role in the care of our patients and is an integral member of the intra-professional team.
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician. Follows defined treatment protocol according to department policies. Collects, assesses, interprets, and intervenes as appropriate in the care of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift and will also work a rotation for every third weekend.
This includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, PTO, 403B, tuition reimbursement, and so much more Shift differential incentives:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Implementing Respiratory interventions based on plan of care.
Operating and maintaining all Respiratory Care equipment.
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field
License/Certification/Registration
Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
New Graduates only - must complete RRT within 6 months of hire date.
