It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) RN Cardiac Progressive Care PCU. The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients

~ You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
~ You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team
~ You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing
Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
Our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) is a 35 bed cardiovascular stepdown unit.
We specialize in advanced heart failure, heart transplants, specialized cardiac surgeries such as TAVRs, and LVAD patients. What sets us apart from other progressive care or cardiac units is that we have a very specialized cardiac population. If you enjoy complex cardiac cases that involve IV cardiac drips and critical thinking this is the unit. The culture on the unit is very positive and the staff treat each other like family. They are always planning off-site get togethers for team building.
