It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) RN Inpatient Ortho Spine PRN. The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. Provides care to patients 16 years of age and older. Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating criticals as defined. Follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned. Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or result. Educational records (diploma or transcript) are mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing.
You will demonstrate your nursing specialty advanced knowledge, skills and understanding of the unique aspects of the population served in the care of your patients.
As an Inpatient Surgery Ortho Spine Nurse, you will utilize your specialized skills and unit specific competencies.
You will oversee and direct the care of CNA’s and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
