Chief Financial Officer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters Degree in Accounting and CPA license.

Proven experience of at least 5 years as a CFO or equivalent leadership role in the financial sector.

Experience developing profitable strategies and implementing a vision.

Must be highly proficient in Workday financial management systems, demonstrating expertise in leveraging this technology to optimize financial operations.

Demonstrated commitment to faith-based values and the ability to align financial strategies with organizational mission and vision.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to inspire a team and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

A strategic thinker with a track record of financial innovation and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of the non-profit sector.

Must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

Some travel may be required. Current driver’s license and automobile insurance are necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support the strategic goals of the organization.

Ensure financial integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining impeccable records and reporting systems according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Manage, supervise, strategize, arrange, synchronize, and assess financial programs and associated information systems, encompassing budget management, invoicing, revenue collections, fund allocation, vendor interactions, and asset preservation.

Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to identify opportunities for financial optimization and innovation.

Offer comprehensive guidance and supervision to the finance and accounting functions within the organization. Examine and assess KPIs, metrics, and reports to formulate enhancements or solutions. Execute sound judgements to drive business progress and safeguard the financial well-being of the organization.

Play a pivotal role in fundraising efforts, leveraging financial insights to enhance resource mobilization from donors and partners.

Point of contact for stakeholders.

Prepares financial reporting for the Board of Directors, FAC, C-level executives and keeps them informed of financial risks to the organization.

Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the finance department, aligning financial strategies with the organization’s ethos and mission.

Drive the implementation and proficient use of Workday financial management systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

COMPENSATION

The role offers a base salary of $200,000, reflective of the expertise and value the successful candidate will bring to the organization. This is an opportunity not just to lead the financial direction of the organization but to be part of a team that is making a real difference in the world.
